Damn. What a jumbled mess. S1 story didn't even connect with me in sequel. It was like Choi was lead with soulmate /ABO connection in Freezing Point and his fake beta close friend was side kick.....so in Ignition Point the story just ousted Choi and went with some f'd up family dynamics with a scumbag mom to start, then the whole thing just tanked for me. I get the 'see beyond the gender assigned' concept but how the author went about the actual story was annoying. Characters had very small growth but the story is very rushed. In depth with growth this story could have been very satisfying....as it ends, it is unsatisfying and hangs on a crap open ending. Ending was ass. UGH I wanted to tear my hair out with every character in this story LOL (they are supposedly not blood related but even that has its' own open vague value in the story. The mom begins to admit that they do not have the same father, but the lady partner cuts her off before it is truly revealed to us who the father is, and if H and B really are not by the same alpha) This story left more open and icky then had any meaningful value with the conclusion for me.
