honestly it felt like the author just wanted them to start fucking asap and since rape is so normalised, it was the easiest and fastest way to achieve that w/o being held accountable. they did that by 1. use ambiguous scenes to confuse the readers and 2. brushing it off w the comedy and romance to make the readers forget
