I'm so glad someone else said this. The whole refusal to a safe word p*ssed me off so much. Like they both need to have their own safe words they chose themselves for multiple reasons to include safety. This entire story was just either of them doing whatever they want regardless of the others feelings. And the fact that the MC was so traumatized (not that it's ok) to the point of taking it out on his surroundings as he did makes it even more crazy that he just got over it so easily cus "ah, feel good"

This is not what the fans want to see. Sub/dom play is literally based upon mutual trust, this is just subpar rape/assault play with a subserve tag tacked on. Why can’t consent just be a given.
