FOR REAL!! In most of those popular manhwas, the uke straight up refuse to admit their feelings for a while and cause unnecessary complications for several chapters. Also act like a total baby when they're def an adult. Hate it.
It’s true They’ve turned it into a cliché!!! It’s unusual to see a bold Uke who’s still a uke, without being some red flag power bottom. I hate the lack of communication and the absolute avoidance issues Ike’s have now! 90% of the manga’s problems are almost always because they won’t admit feelings or take action, or just talk like regular people normally do! So frustrating!!

I actually really like the uke’s character. It’s pretty refreshing to see a bottom that’s possessive and thinks that the top is cute, confesses their feelings and understands themselves quickly enough to know that they’ve fallen in love and know exactly what kind of relationship they want.
Uke’s have gotten boring recently, I wish I had twenty more chapters of their relationship! Or at least another manga with similar personalities!
