Honestly I expected exactly what I got, I scrolled to the comments to get a gist on the plot and seen everyone react negatively. But in my opinion it honestly made sense for an ending, the 2 main characters ending up together and I wouldn't have seen it otherwise I mean from the beginning chapters it's obvious how fucked? they are; Don't know what other way to put it. We got one who treats life like it's insignificant due to his environment growing up, while the other became obsessed and revolved his world around someone he met for the first time. I say obsessed because someone wrote a comment mentioning that and it clicked when I finished this. Props to the ML for at least knowing their situation wasn't healthy and letting the mc know to not come back til he can properly stand, I can tell a few years went by before they met once more. But like I said the ML was never gonna forget the mc or hate him let's be fr, that man was always gonna remember him in the back of his head due to his feelings/ obsessions. I think if it was possible for the author to write more it wouldn't feel as though it's full of plot holes, lol I agree the story didn't feel complete due to leaving me with questions on characters or situations. ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭
Side note: It's like a symbiotic relationship between the 2, they realistically wouldn't function without the other, I mean the mc still didn't let go of the ML due to him being the most sane creep in his life and being so simple to read, while the ML still spoke about the mc with hate that was really just resentment due to the bitterness of being left behind(clearly still had feelings). Sure they lived life away from eachother and time didn't stop for them but they were still stuck on one another and once met again they'll continue to be stuck no matter how long of a time/distance the 2 had
