They left out a lot of details… maybe they have no big impact in the story line, but are details mentioned in the novel… Like the chapter before, Encrid evolves his reflexes, in the novel mentioned an escene were in a regression he’s capable of evade all the attacks of the monsters, and at the end kills the leader but after killing him he once again reincarnated, so he happen to know that he can’t evade to fight them, he has to fight and kill them to go to another day… this isn’t mentioned here, but is like he gets better as a mercenary so I like to read it in the novel.
It might just be to also because their workload they might just be tired of animating that stuff, but in my opinion, they probably should’ve put it there. I think they also wanted to show that the character is making progress like a lot of of it so they didn’t want him to be hurt or maybe they left it for later on. Maybe they’re gonna expand on something else

They did show that, the thing on the boat that sees his death told him that staying alive to evade the wall isn't enough

Good think is that I read the novel… a lot of things are let out, like this chapter 98, Fin was injured from the last battle with an injury in his torso, and when they get captured or imprisoned in the cave they get killed every time they hold the sword, not just get alarmed due the knight with the sword … maybe the novel is rated +18 and the weebtoon is lighter?
