I am reading that also and it’s fine. The protag and trump have more of an aligned interests kind of thing, and it’s sort of indicated that either one of them is willing to break the alliance/backstab if it stops benefiting them. But this is just Elon glaze. It’s like the author just assumes the readers already think elon is a super cool guy and is writing as if that’s an objective fact
his image was not that bad years ago. when he bought twitter and aligned with that guy, he just spiraled into cringe. One can say it was his true colors showing up. I know people in the east not really following what is happening in the west or is really delayed. I guess the author may be behind what the west think of him now.
I do know what you’re talking about his image being better back then. But even years ago, there was info about his nepobaby status, sketchy takeover and rising amount of babymamas. I do think that if you’re writing a real person into your story, you should probably do some research. Like if I added a Leonardo da Vinci cameo into something I was writing, I would definitely spend some time looking into his actual life.

Every time I see Elon, I die of cringe. I don’t think I’ve ever had to drop a manga over a character who’s just a reoccurring cameo but this might be the first
