People HATE characters with depth

Is Maxi being reckless? Yes, but you can’t hate her for it. She is being reckless not out of a childish selfish desire, but out of desperation to be loved. Riftan loves Maxi, she knows it too, but she thinks he loves her because she is a precious Nobel lady, which she isn’t. So she does everything thing and anything she deems useful so she can be loved, even if she is not that precious Noble lady Riftan loves. So instead of drowning in inferiority she try’s to change, to be someone worthy of love. Does the way she does it put other in a difficult Spot? Yes, but she simply doesn’t know another way to prove herself. She lacks knowledge and education to do that in a more safe and productive way. That’s what makes her interesting, she is neither weak nor OP, holds actual intrinsic motivation and comes with all the imperfections a human like her would have. So babes stop reading if you can’t handle a multi-dimensional character
