I just read it too and I think she does love Jinah. She loved her back in high school as well that’s why she ruined her relationship, cuz she was jealous.
Now she just assumes that putting a label on their relationship would make Jinah pull away. Like she said in this chapter: “you’d just find it annoying or bothersome if I clung to you.” That’s her understanding of Jinah’s personality. And honestly, Jinah does nag a lot and plays a bit hard to get which leads to Jina misunderstanding the whole situation. But that’s just my read on it, I could be wrong.
