I was truly enjoying their relationship, especially after Amane’s incredible character development..
. He changed so much. .. He became kinder, more emotionally aware, and consistently tried to communicate and understand his partner. Watching his growth was one of the best parts of this story....
And then the Yanagi arc happened.... What the author did to Rindo after more than 150 chapters of building this relationship makes absolutely no sense....
It feels like character assassination....
At the beginning, Rindo was careless, yes—but it was tolerable. Even after the incident with the girl and the kiss, it still felt like something he could grow from...
But now? There is no excuse...
Rindo refuses to set boundaries...
Amane clearly told him that Yanagi has something for him and asked him to talk to him and resolve it properly... Instead, Rindo keeps entertaining Yanagi without a single thought about how this affects Amane...
And let’s be honest—this isn’t “kindness” or “innocence.” It’s selfishness...
In chapters 189 and 190, what he was doing with Yanagi was blatant flirting...
Letting him touch his face. ... Not pushing him away. ... Calling him handsome. ...Blushing.
And the worst part? He knows it’s wrong...
He literally tells Yanagi, “Don’t do this in front of Amane,” which means he is fully aware that what’s happening is inappropriate... He knows Amane would hate it. He knows it crosses a line... But instead of stopping it, he just avoids doing it in front of Amane...
That’s not ignorance. .. That’s conscious disrespect. You don’t treat someone you call “just a friend” like that. You don’t allow that level of physical closeness, emotional tension, and visible blushing if you respect your partner...
Meanwhile, Amane is out there anxious and frustrated, searching for him—and Rindo was busy flirting around...
After that, I simply couldn’t see Rindo the same way again... Amane wasn’t perfect at the beginning of the story.no he was a bad person He made alot of mistakes... But he owned them. He grew. ..He tried... His development was real and meaningful..
Rindo, on the other hand, shows no growth her. None. And that’s what makes it so disappointing..
The strongest part of their relationship used to be their loyalty to each other. ..That mutual devotion..
Now? It feels broken...
Amane deserves better. I said it before, and I’ll say it again—he deserves someone better
After Rindo’s stupid actions, I’m stopping at chapter 190.
Because anyone with basic common sense wouldn’t do what he’s doing if they truly had a partner they cared about... And he won’t change, using the excuse that it’s just his damn personality so I refuse to watch Amane get hurt like this everytime...
I’m genuinely disappointed....
