Winterbell shows us the world as it was when the dragons still lived in it and protected humanity + the reason why they left (also shows us Shuhanan and Roaren, including why Shuhanan has so much animosity towards humans). Estio shows us the world after the dragons leave, continues Shuhanan + Roaren's story and Shuhanan taking Estio with him back to the world of dragons thus finally wiping dragons from the world once and for all. The baby Estio finds at the end of his story is Ygret. They all happen in the same world, just featuring different time periods and different influential characters in it.
This one is Connected cuz its showing you the story of Estio’s parents but they are not the MCs thn comes Estio’s story in which he saves ygret as a baby before leaving with his father.
