Could u pls give the names of the other 2
One is Approximal Guide. Aside from the idol thing, it is literally the same with the esper x guide, transmigration from S-class guide to weakling setup. The other one is Kill the Lights. It's not esper x guide but involves transmigration from an elite military guy into a trash celebrity's body.
This trope is super common like you can imagine lmao. It's not even the guideverse thing, it's just a transmigration/rebirth trope of weakling rise to power.
Approximately Guide is such a good read! Still ongoing, but highlyyyy recommend

have the same plot, although it's more of a parallel universe/time travel on the time when he's weak (irrc)
So I checked out the novel here: https://hyacinthbloom.com/the-s-rank-guides-escape-from-idol-hell/
It's pretty much the same. The MC is an SSS-rank guy who took over a weak guy's body, who'd attempted suicide and is seen as a loser by those around him. I've literally seen those same exact characters and setups in 2 other BL esper/guide transmigration webtoons (you get a point if you can name them). I suppose transmigration and esper/guide stories are the new trends these days. I always find it depressing how for the sake of the story, people must hate on the weak guy so passionately for no reason, but only like him and respect him when someone competent takes over his body.
