What was the ML supposed to protect Yoochan from? Idg. The ML being a coward, yeah everyone cowers sometimes. I do agree that neglecting him was horrible especially to someone who has done but dote on you.
As much as Yoochan hurt, the ML has been hurting his entire life. The one person that you thought had interest in you was using you as a plaything too. So I think if it was written in such a way that the ML truly introspected, got past some of that trauma and fought for a second chance instead of Yoochan coming to him idk might have been better but I think at the same time Yoochan coming to him shows to the ML he doesn’t need to be more ? He can be confident that he actually liked him
I see your point but the entire vibe from the ML I just didn't like the character. Sometimes we just don't connect and this ML I could easily not engage, kinda like I didn't delve deep into the character cause I didn't connect at all.
Yeah I get that. Happens to me too, tried to read the boy next door is a vampire and both characters are just bleh imo
Yup. Sometimes the connection is just not there. Just read Cover Yup and again characters were miserable and I hit that same type of 'blah' when reading it. oh well, we do win a lot of them tho, so many are so great sometimes we hit the one that doesn't work for us :)
Just ok. I didn't like the ML in this story. Coward. He didn't defend/protect Yoochan and literally didn't at any point truly consider his feelings. I know he had issues but you don't neglect your loved one to that point. I just didn't like that character at all. Got thru it, I so would have liked Yoochan in a different story line LOL
