I know people bring it up a lot for this one but tbh if you can, I'd read it. Normally I'm content with the comic version but in this case the novel really does lend a lot of insight that fills gaps.
I'll keep reading because it's still visually appealing and I can imagine the monologuing in my head, but I do recommend reading if you can :)
