that fucking bird that I hate

cum socket March 1, 2026 10:27 am

Just finished this and had to make an account to say this.

First of all, THIS IS MY OPINION. Don't come at me. In fact I'd like to discuss whether if you agree with me or not.

I fucking hate Horus so much. I can't understand this character no matter what I do. I understand the dynamic between seth and horus but he is so irritating it's driving me mad. The way he's so damn delusional and obssessive with seth really bores me. It's like it was purely made to be an possesive top or sm shit. I would like horus if:

- He actually tried to support Seth.
- He didn't go batshit crazy when a man was near even if it's his damn son and actually helped seth get back to him. (don't get me wrong im not justifying that kiss scene)
- It seems like his entire existence is purely for seth. Which I don't like. At all.

And also speaking of seth, I hate how he got ripped off of his character. In the first 40-ish chapters I really liked his character. It could've been a really good base for a character redemption arc but the author decided to pour it all down the drain with making him a twink that gets gangbanged 24/7. I'd like it if he they were both a switch because this is literally not who he is.

I get that it's to show how he is suffering just like how he made other people do but he was introduced as the god of war that is merciless and even kills woman just because they look like his sister. Sure, he got demoted to being a demigod but someone like him shouldn't get manhandled and be treated like a princess. "Oh no he's sick." Bitch that's an excuse to make Horus flip him on his ass. There should've been no way that Horus is stronger than Seth.

I really like the lore but the characters and how the story is turning pmo so bad. Such a shame a story is being forced to go down the average yaoi route. Younger me would've ate this up but now it's just the same story and base repeating itself over and over again.

I'd really like it If it was more focused on seth's curse and anubis.

Anyways I hope the 3rd season is focused more on my pookie wookie baby anubis and shows us things other than horus taking his delicate little kitten and growling at the other xy chromosomed people for breathing the same air as seth. God I just wanna see how anubis and seths father and son bond goes and what Osirishit will do to keep them apart. Horus may show if he can keep his beak under his pants. ٩(๑❛ᴗ❛๑)۶

like 3 years ago I said I hated Horus and can't make sense of his character and I woke up to like 16 downvotes lol. nice to see the tides changing I guess

You are so incredibly right dude, seeing Seth's de-evolution was so incredibly disappointing and Horus is straight up a man child. The only thing I'm looking forward to now is really just how Anubis and Seth's story will turn out

Literally everything you said was exactly what I’ve been thinking. The plot was lost many chapters ago and they just dumbed it down to gangbangs, the watered down Seth’s character, turning him into some feisty twink, when he was literally viewed as someone you should be afraid of. I’m sick of Horus as well, honestly Seth shouldn’t be with anyone!!

I love your take on this !! I noticed whenever someone tries to critic this manhwa they only speak on Seth getting gangbanged. This is an ACTUAL review finallyEven tho i LOVEE ennead i still have sm to critic on.

OMG i agree...i hate horus. I remember getting cancelled for saying this (green flag apparently) but he's honestly just a bland ML to me. His whole character only revolves around Seth and i found it boring. You perfectly said what was on my mind on the plot too. I swear the first part was peakk but the story got dumbed down for sex and porn (which i dont mind too much cs i liked it) but still.

I've said this before like three years ago but I always hated how Horus would push his feelings onto Seth. Rereading two years later and I've lost all expectations of the story and I'm kinda enjoying it a lot rn

While I do understand where you’re coming from, I can’t completely agree.

Horus is a very difficult character to understand, not only because his behavior can be seen as obsessive and even unreasonable, but the way I see it, it’s because even he himself doesn’t know who he is. I don’t know if I’m explaining myself well, like, through the story we’ve seen “clues” about his character that actually don’t clear anything up, for example when they were in the dark space and he found a carving of a god that resembled him. So we don’t really know what to expect. Neither does he. For all we know, he could be an ancient God that merged with other god or something like that, and that’s why there are scriptures about him. If you look into Egyptian mythology you can actually see that he has like different “stages” (I don’t know how to call that) one is like when he’s a kid, then when he’s mature and the other is when he’s old. So yeah, his character still needs a bit more maturity and clarity (and power).

I agree with the fact that Seth has gone through awful things (like getting raped and sold, etc…), it makes him seem weak and like he lost the personality he had at the start, but I think that’s literally the point. Remember he’s being punished for the things he did, and that he’s not even a god anymore, he’s a demigod, he doesn’t have the same power he had, and Horus (even mere humans) can overpower him. So it makes sense that that’s why he’s “weak”. Like, I don’t think it’s just because they want him to be a helpless twink, but because that’s literally the only way he can understand what he did to those people and experience being powerless that even gods younger and more inexperienced than you can flip you around and just do things you could easily do before. Not only the loss of power hurts, but being incapable to do things the way you used to, is humiliating. That’s his punishment.

Everything up until now has shown us how Seth’s curse has affected him and changed the trajectory of the Ennead’s future, one of the most important things that the curse has affected is probably Anubis. So I do think that the plot was not lost, if anything, things are getting a bit more clear. In the end, it all circles back to Osiris, who’s actually the real villain here (as far as we know).

Also, Horus is basically the only one who can save Seth, because he is powerful and (one way or another) the only one who truly loves him the way he is (and not because he expects something from him or thinks he’s someone he’s not).

Let’s say the fact here is if Seth life didn’t go down hill unfortunately there would be no ennead what did u expect love and a fucking happily ever after if the author didn’t break it down like this it would have been shit

Seth is quite toxic yes but Horus and Seth’s love story is obviously not explained in this season as to why he’s so devoted and if u can’t understand that you shouldn’t be reading it

    Hyinjin1aaaa May 12, 2026 4:36 pm

I’m so sorry but I can’t agree with u on this cause to me besides his obsession which is kind of annoying to be honest I love his character very much cause he’s the only one who truly care about Seth and as for his not letting any man near him I’m sorry but what has happened to very single man Seth has met did they not end up raping and falling I love with him to please Horus is the least of ur problems the other just likes when men all want to get into his pants at least Horus did it consensual except when Osiris possessed him tho
