From what I remember in the raws I read that, the director was actually mc's past fling (I think they did do it too) which made the director more into him. Idk I kinda forgot some of the panels that was on it, I just didn't translate it clearly so maybe they might have done it or he just wanna get to him, but I did saw that one panel that they were together in bed but mc was completely disgusted and looks angry maybe he was just doing it with him to forget about ml.
