Don’t listen to the comments, it’s not that bad

My review- so don’t read if you don’t want to be spoiled too much. There are definitely worse toxic mls. This ml was just manipulative and insecure, imo way kinder than most mls from worse bls i’ve read. His heart was in the right place it’s just he went about it wrong. And i wish it was explored more on the why. We get one lil flashback of him when he was in school and then no explanation. Usually they reveal it has something to do with family, yet in this one we barely get any info on the ml. He just falls for the mc and he is his entire world. They were supposed to trade baby pics and we end up only seeing the mc’s baby pics…

I wish they had actually talked properly, and that we learned more about ml’s family. That the mc’s family stuff got somewhat resolved like he confronted them and cut them off or something. That mc came clean to his friends about the lies. Also what the hell— he had trauma with girls but suddenly was ok with them? At the beginning it felt like the author was building up to something. We saw his sister and mom were assholes but idk i thought maybe the trauma would be deeper and maybe he could talk about it with the ml. It just felt like a lot of loose ends. Things would get introduced, you think it’s important and then actually it didn’t matter/never got resolved. Even the way they made up…like it seemed the mc was about to build up to finally communicate properly and then he said fuck it, it actually doesn’t matter let’s go fuck. ㅠㅠㅠㅠ the art was so beautiful. It could have been one of the greats.
