I think they forgot he was a student altogether.
It feels like this is the 1st time I'm hearing about him having to do anything with music..
I was pretty sure a lot of people forgot, that’s why I mentioned it. Tbh I forgot too, I reread it a while back and was like “lmaoo he’s a student fr? Music what?” And I made a note to see if they somehow mentioned it ever again.
I guess if they didn’t just kinda forgot that he is a music major and he was struggling writing a song at the beginning of the story, the ending would hit harder…
