I so agree with you. I hope everyone involved in this plot will regret what they did. Davey should remind them what he is capable of and what will happen if they play such games with him. I also hope he won't get together with the princess, it's not her fault for beeing too sheltered and having those instincts. Hope the author won't go down this part. I don't want a harem in this story or a romance trope now. I always liked it that Davey was so firm and not giving in to any girls.
So Davey was fully about to be either r*ped or manipulated into being with her.... WTF IS THIS WRITING!!!!
this brings nothing to the story except for complete annoyance to the reader at delaying the current story ark. I literally couldn't give a damn about the princess or the empire, he should just cut them both off and that old f*ck can realise what a powerful enemy he's made.
