Actually had to dig to find your comment because I too had the same reaction. The standards in this genre are so low I genuinely cannot believe a 9.0 rating and have to either read comments which aren’t even represent the story as well at times, or take the chance and read chapter myself only to experience yet again another romanticized assault. It’s truly disappointing that this what is considered “great”.
Since Mangago removed the rating system from being shown, you will have a really hard time finding honest or good reviews. All we have now is a topic section where most comments tend to be positive. It's sad, really.
Well, I wish I could say this in the comments instead of topics, but whatever. wasted premise, Instead of the author letting their characters' relationship develop, they resorted to sexual assault instead. Like, are BL fans THAT horny that they can't read the first 10 chapters without sex, so the author needs to think of a way for the characters to do sex in the first 10 chapters? And most of the time they are raping each other because it doesn't make sense why one side would consent to it when he never thought that he would be with a man anyway because, God forbid we have two sides who had experience with men. And for people who are celebrating pegging, just read Josei; there's plenty of pegging representation there, I don't know why people are clapping for this, but I get it, The mangago tagging system sucks; they wouldn't let people find stuff easier. Also, the "bisexuality representation is so rare in BL" comment is not true, Maybe it was true two years ago, but I'm seeing plenty of it these days, so I don't know what you are talking about. I really liked the first 5 chapters, but after the hostess club thing? It's all gone downhill for me. It's really interesting to see people barely talk about the story or premise but instead magnify the pegging and bisexuality representation, making it seem like it's a big deal and never done before when it's done many, many times before.
