EXACTLY OMG IVE FOUND MY PEOPLE in abo they're always so disgusted by omegas who are weak frail and at a disadvantage while alphas are dominant and born to rule the world and yk what that sounds like? Traditional ass gender roles!! I also feel like thats why people defend the alphas and the tops so much it's always internalised misogyny
this particular manhwa just rubs me the wrong way because it has so many interesting ideas that are playing second fiddle to humbling J. J has some internal issues regarding being an omega that is tied to a very real and traumatic experience, that should be obvious and relatable. But the way people talk about him here... it always comes back to "if he just lays down and submits to Suah everything will be fixed. If he just has sex with him already, gets pregnant and just accepts/acts like an omega, they'll be happy " Which has irl parallels... once again, too woke for this shit, its just porn ik but the way some of these ppl in this comment sections be talking...? The animosity for someone who is undoubtedly a victim?? I was shocked.
Thats not to say Suah isnt interesting either. him becoming an alpha, pushing into a role he wasnt expecting that comes with new instincts and issues he never wanted to have has affected him deeply. He wants to hold onto who he was and what he had before, which means holding onto J, but his means of doing that have been so destructive its done more to hurt their relationship then foster it. Its all played up for comedic effect and in some ways it is funny. Hes a real yearner lol. But still...
THANK YOUU as much as I hate suah I can understand he's a complex character and his disdain for his own body has pushed him into this selfishness that blinds him and drives his actions, which makes him all the more terrifying. He also believes if juhyeok just gets with him, all Juhyeoks problems will be solved and that's where his insane actions and his unawareness of his own cruelty come from. For juhyeok he's also a complex character, he's trapped in a body he hates and in a way feel like suah stole what could've been from him. Suah is a constant unrelenting reminder that he will never measure up to any expectations he sets for himself, and that battles with his own innate love for suah. Juhyeok is on the other side of the scale where his selflessness toward suah outweighs his own self preservation. He knows being around suah will deteriorate his mental condition as a constant reminder of his inferiority, but he also loves him too much to just leave. UGGHHHHHFUCKKKKKKK THIS SVIT IS SO OMGGGG IT'S SO MUCH MORE THAN PORN TO ME

I like them both a lot and I'm a sucker for well written tension but I'm disappointed at how right now it's looking like the writing is framing Juhyeok as the one who did something wrong and is the one who needs to change and just letting Suah off the hook for everything he did.
Neither of them are perfect or even that good to each other but to make Juhyeok suddenly go like 'maybe it's him that I actually like u_u' so quickly and that the narrative just brushed past the very real life ruining Suah did to him, and then go around to treat Juhyeok's mistreatment of Suah as super serious... It's giving double standards mamaw
