I read ts manga back in 2021 when i was 15 and it really conforted me at the time when i was the only lesbian i knew in real life. I remeber relating deeply to toma and masumi and how they dealt with their feelings about their friends and found themselves suppressing their sexuality. Seeing Toma confess his feelings to Taichi gave me the courage i needed to tell my friend that I liked her back in the day. That's why the ending and the girls not getting together while the man can be free to explore their sexuality really saddens me.
Leaving that apart it's a beautiful story about friendship, being in love, growing up and feeling like an anomaly because you're the only lgbt person among all the people around you
