But isn't that how it happens with some high school crushes? It's often what ppl call "puppy love" and doesn't necessarily need to be that deep, besides it's normal to be able to let go when you know the other person is happy in a healthy relationship, specially bc in the prequel Takeo and Ao had a lot more friendship moments than anything. Other than helping Takeo realize his sexuality, I don't think his crush on Ao was that big of a deal (that doesn't mean it didn't happen or that his feelings were false obviously) but honestly it'd be weird to start a new relationship by bringing up your unrequited crush, specially if you're over it already
Fr thoo takeo never said or admit he likes aowhats this ppl damn whining abt. I think their relationship is pretty cute just like the other two couple. I was so confused cuz even reading main story,i never thought takeo likes ao romantically or has a crush on him. He prolly found an attachment to ao because he found out abt ao's fear to thunder since takeo is someone who always taking care of others
Takeo in the prequel had a crush on Ao and in this story he shouldve addressed that with Wako. Considering it was his awakening. But i also think it was really convenient for him how Wako confessed right after his awakening because
1. He likes it when people like him first
2. He also already knows Wako and care for him platonically
Although I do believe that he fell for Wako but that doesnt remove the fact how he just straight up forgot Ao
