The plot was in no way condoning, supporting, or justifying pedophilia. The uncle was portrayed in a negative light from start to end, so I don't really see why it would need to be removed... Many people have gone through some sort of equally complicated relationship in real life too, so in a way, stories like these help those kinds of people feel more seen. If anything, many popular modern anime show many cases endorsing pedophilia (7DS for example), which I think is worse than a story that shows it in a dark way. But regardless, these characters a simply devices used to tell a compelling story, not a guide on morality or show of the authors personal beliefs
I have to hard disagree. The art... totally was sexualizing pedophilia and grooming. I am not against talking about child rape or grooming, cause it happened to me. I'm against showing graphics images of it. Going out of their way to draw out long drawen out scenes of being sexualy assaulted does not need to happen for the audience to understand what is happnening. A good example of appropriate amount of show is the manga pico, the girl sells her body but only shows a panel or two of like the body or her skirt falling to the ground. The less shown shows more. This is fetish content, fetish content with plot.
I enjoy the sequel to this but THIS needs to be taken off the Internet that was a little boy who was taken advantage of by a grown adult who should've known better and to top it off it's incest I genuinely hope that uncle is put in jail and is getting all the pay back he deserves poor poor child I hope in the sequel he gets therapy and removes that tattoo
