They need to communicate better

Grahams side
-boyfriend used to be a fuck boy homophobic straight man.. which we have seen his character develop be great but still can’t remove all of grahams insecurity over night
-jaehyuks parents already don’t think it’s that serious and already said they don’t support
-his insecurity of his boyfriend having to deal with being outed as gay when he wouldn’t have to deal with that if they didn’t date
-that guilt of jaekyuk having a scar on his face due to his ex
-his past relationship with birthdays with probably shit and never found a good time to mention it because there is a power imbalance in the relationship connected to money

Jaekyuk
-first ever serious relationship in general
-never really listens to his parents so he really didn’t consider nor cares what they think about him dating a man
-loves his man and will do anything to make graham happy without thinking of informing him of because he doesn’t want him to worry ( I think lying about the apartment was ok since graham wouldn’t take it if he knew the truth, but modeling and going after the ex in court should have been talked about in my opinion)
-I personally think he hasn’t really grasped how hard it could be if he is an open gay man since he’s always lived life on easy mode with his parents money
-he probably doesn’t know that his way of thinking about this relationship also causes graham to not feel secure about making the next big step with the rings.
