I agree with you. They called it 'situationship' now... like really? It's stupid. Say whatever that gives them peace of mind I guess. But really, nowadays they put a label to everythig but called it at it is because they're afraid to be hurt with the truth.
If both of them were single, I think it wouldn't bother people so much. But what part of they're MARRIED people don't understand or they just view those vows as easy to break because they're not emotionally or physically together... also, married women, really? your knight's wives? ... and with that agressive temper? M
Like, one can respect the author's views but don't let it blind you lol
Yeah, I agree to disagree because this story doesn't really strictly follow that kind of settings. It's very light in that aspect so she could have been there to keep company to his husband for the games or whatever. It's clear what her role was and the word 'knight' wasn't thrown at random. But, like I said, it could have been any woman.
He is officially married to "Kira". Let's put aside the relationship between Frederick and Kiran. Kira's relatives and brother observe his "oath-breaking" in close proximity. And Frederick doesn't give a fuck. If I were her family, I wouldn't let this man-whore get near my sister.
Kiran kills me too with his forgetfulness, no matter how much guilt he feels for scaming, it's too much..
Maybe the knight's a player in the games so he had better accommodations? Maybe someone who has a better rank than a random knight? Also, it looks like in that castle everybody walks too freely because why would a visitor's wife look for a married king in that kind of place. If he were in the stable... anyway.
Many things doesn't make sense in this story. It's very light in the chivalry stuff but why would it be serious if that's not their aim lol
Well, he should know the people he's going to fight against (and so the people who enter his castle... I think maybe the author omitted the name of the knight in question, cause as you said is not really taken seriously). And he was not in the stable when he met the woman. They were in a common room. And as you said, everybody is walking everywhere freely, but only because he just became king, and the palace is "under construction."
That part of the story is so unserious because that's not the author's intention. It could be anything, for you and others that woman is just a guest's wife, but for many she's not. But in the end, it's the same thing because he did what he did.
I said stable because that's where he was sleeping and it would have been more fitting to meet a random person and have relations if he really wanted to keep it hidden but he's that brazen. He's a king after all.
The 'Stable' has been used now in the story as a code for him sleeping outside the married couple room. It could be him sleeping in the actual stable or with women.
And even if the palace was under construction a visitor's wife or his own knight's wife shouldn't be there at that time of the night hahaha so funny really
What I mean is this story seems so heteronormative. Feels like the MC is written as a woman. So w that mindset, doesn’t ML seem like a misogynist? While ML’s completely fine w being slut, he’d draw the line w his “wife” showing a little bit of leg, even though the “wife” is clearly not doing so suggestively. Like the double standards is craaaazzyyyy. Idk, I just get that kinda vibes

Nope. I can’t do it anymore. ML completely ruined it for me. It’s not just the cheating. He’s violent and gets angry at MC for “showing off” his legs to other people (even though it is NOT intentional), but it’s ok for him to whore around w other (married) women????? It’s giving heteronormativity and misogyny. Disgusting.
