I'm telling you because I need to vent, but this rape scene is so out of nowhere, resolved off screen and the characters don't talk about it or really acknowledge it happened that it feels like the story had a fever dream.
Like seriously, ML save MC and then they proceed to talk about a death prophecy or whatever and I'm like : "maybe bring the guy to a hospital and therapist first ???", it's so glossed over it feels yucky.
Oh my god yes, the authors glossed over it like it’s not something worth the time to unravel the trauma. Rape in BL is not an uncommon thing it happens in half of them fck even some of them have it as the whole plot. These stories never expand on the trauma and impact r@pe has.
telling me MC got fucking r@ped by this rando and then ML comes in and he DOESNT fucking mention it ?!?!!!!!!?!?!? If they could spend time on ML tragic backstory with his lost Hyung they can spend time acknowledging the rape of the mc
Also they couldn’t have that evil guy just….beat the shit out of MC? why do we have to resort to rape. Like I get he wanted guiding and wtv the hell. we could’ve had the dude beat up MC bad cuz he refused guiding ML comes in and saves the day it would’ve had the same effect.
