The sun goddess greeted Gio as a fellow god when he appeared at the temple.

The resolution is kinda dumb because basically the humans are the ones refusing peace so proposing a trade deal isn't going to solve anything at all ? The demons aren't the ones that need convincing. Their solution is basically : "hey we've been fighting back against bullies and we'd like to stop, let's see if offering our lunch money make them stop bothering us."
