Garam is so annoyinggggggggg honestly can’t stand him he acts like he doesn’t even want this relationship. Jae literally was going to do the same thing with the rings as Garam was but he was too scared and now knowing they want the same thing (with the rings) he just says no… for what.
Unsubscribed I don’t think I can take it anymore

    I hate unnecessary angst

I think Garam was coming up with excuses as to why the ring is a bad idea, so Jaehyuk would return his rings because Garam had already spent a fortune on them, and he still wanted to give them when he was ready. It ended up backfiring into a fight because one, Garam's "excuses" were hurtful, and two, Jaehyuk didn't return them; he threw them out. He went silent because he didn't know what to say, and Jaehyuk yelled at him for being silent and then he instantly got snappy about hearing about the birthday from his friend. Which his feelings are valid, but Humans have a way of mimicking emotions, so if one person is angry, it will fuel anger in the other person. Garam getting defensive back instead of talking it out was probably because he felt cornered. I mean he tried to apologize for it but it was dismissed as an excuse without any chance to explain why it wasn't. I think this will be easily resolved if Garam is the one who apologizes and tells Jaehyuk about the rings, along with his anxiety that still exists over his mom rejecting their relationship. This is all just theory crafting an opinion based on reading too much into their words and body language, though.
