Oh my god that was fvking touching! It was surprisingly wholesome! What i love most is how the author developed their bond as an adult, only throwing flashbacks as a means to establish the foundation of their feelings. On top of that, im so glad the characters were able to talk about how their feelings at the moment weren't because of what their relationship (tchr-student) was in the past; it's because they're adults now and are of equal grounds that they developed feelings for each other. And that was really really really important. Sakae saying that his loving towards the older man wasn't because he was a replacement for his dad nor because he was his tchr and got a hold of him, but because his admiration slowly turned into a romantic feeling when they encountered each other again was such a good and needed touch. It made the story mature and gently handled. I also really love how the older reiterates that he doesn't see the younger as when he was a student or as his student before, but someone equal. The younger grew up to be a strong and dependable adult is now able to give him support and nudge him out of his monotonous world. Aaah i cant stop gushing how soft and how well-written this one is.
