It was the same for me so I read it somewhere else! Basically in the two chapters that aren’t here the prince takes her to the balcony where he asks for her name. She tells him she’s the demon Bella and he knows her from books he’s read in the imperial library. He bows to her because of his knowledge of her. She reveals what happened to her and he tells her he’d help her in whatever because he was friends with Isabella and reveals that the weird rumors where she liked him only came because they didn’t want to meet in public. They actually were pretty close. So he wants to make any wish that she had come true. Also he admitted that he knew that he’d suffer after death because of his demon contract but doesn’t care. He reveals that his contract is with that demon she mentioned before the one with glasses that’s known as the demon of domination. Later she gets the info she needs from the rat guy and she goes with her brother to “apologize” to the family of the daughter she “poisoned”. She says she knows he forced his sister to be engaged and he retorts. she hands over proof that the girl bought the poison on her own and proves that he was just blaming it on her. Gabriel her brother gets mad and the talk about how the duke would practically have their family exiled for framing Bella. She then forces him to sign a contract where the dimonds mined will belong to who she chooses basically extorting him. In exchange for not revealing the truth. The girl who poisoned herself to avoid being with the prince reveals the truth to the duke though to protect Isabella. ….. sorry if this was long!
