i wholeheartedly agree, you couldn't have said it any better than this! what yuta went through is unfathomably traumatic, a fate which is worth than anything even death. Seunghyun has left him for utter torture and eventual death(if his late husband hadn't saved him) so it's just unfair and utterly cruel to make yuta end up with someone that chose and loved another man in the expense of his life and wellbeing. Death would be far kinder and merciful to yuta than anyone has ever been in his life.

Unpopular opinion but I feel like Yuta dying at the end would be more reasonable and satisfying than him staying alive and ending up with Seunghyun. He has been suffering and abused for years, and even if the wounds heal, the pain will stay with him forever. And honestly, Seunghyun does not deserve Yuta at all. I am not even going to talk about the SA because people will start arguing again about how they both did the same thing. I am talking about love. Seunghyun has done nothing to earn that love from Yuta.
If Yuta’s late husband had not picked him up and taken him out of that brothel, Yuta would not even be alive today. Besides his grandpa, the only person who truly loved him and never left him was actually his husband. I think his name was Kuma. And now he is gone. So after Yuta finishes taking his revenge, I feel like he plans not to get the surgery and just let everything go, which is completely understandable because he does not want to keep suffering with all that trauma.
Seunghyun never went back to check on him for years and chose to stay loyally by Jaeil’s side. I am not blaming him because that was his choice, but that alone is enough reason for him not to end up with Yuta.
It might not happen, but I would love a side story where Yuta is reborn and finds his true love, someone who will never leave him and always stay by his side.
