I think that twins are put on pedestal so much. From the moment they're born, they're looked upon as similar, or complementary. Like, the idea of having them being portrayed as wearing same clothes, choosing similar careers, and then ultimately dating/marrying a pair of twins too. You know? I don't know how much of it is true as I don't have a twin. But people perceive them as "pairs" and aren't able to perceive them as individuals that can have seperate lives, like they're sibling at the end of the day T_T. They'll get asked very 'twin specific' question which a person won't ask if the person had a sibling that wasn't their twin. Like, it's wierd you know?
Okay, as someone who has a twin irl, everything u said is pretty spot on except for marrying a pair of twins lmao I've never been asked if I will marry a pair of twins, BUT the questions we get asked is "have guys ever fought over a man?" Which is so... Anyways. That's just my input lmao now I wonder is other pair of twins also get asked about this a lot.. that's kinda weird that ppl expect twins to marry another pair of twins...
No no ofcourse I'm not saying y'all will get asked if you'd marry a pair of twins but media or in general the representation is that twins marrying someone who are also twins... is a thing. Or maybe I js watched wierd news reports/docu's before lol. I kind of knowledge this bc in school, I was either friends or acquaintance at some pt. in my school life throughout, with twins (or one of them) so I heard those questions second handedly.
And fighting over a man question is stupid lol I really saw a video short of twin sisters reacting to this question and one of the sister was like NO, I'm a lesbian XD. So yeah, I guess we should let twins be. But sometimes I wish I had a twin it's kinda cool but not like ooooh y'all are different creatures type of cool, just a fun fact thingy type of cool. The same way being left handed is cool (imo, bc I'm lefty !!)

Ohh, okay I get u. Tho I've never rlly seen any media of twins marrying another set of twins(prolly cuz I don't.. watch tv much I should rlly get back on that)
And yes!! My twin does know, and we pretty much have the same common interests(WHICH IS THE BEST, AND IM FOREVER HAPPY THAT WE GET A LONG WELL TT unlike other twins I saw..). And our sense of style, likes and dislikes vary a lot.
