Omg I thought I was the only one who felt this way I just finished S1, but the 2nd couple is making me hesitant to continue. I know it's a BL, but sometimes when every major character ends up being gay, it starts to feel a bit forced for me, unless it's an omegaverse. And the fact that the 2nd couple is literally the MC's ex-crush and his brother makes me feel weirdly conflicted
Maybe I'll change my mind after reading, but right now I'm not really feeling excited about it.
Yeah completely ruined it for me. I skipped through most of season 2, it’s surprisingly common in a lot of Manwhas where they make so many characters gay and I’m fed up with it. It’s completely healthy for gay characters to have straight friends.
It’s funny how the straight religious brother ended up in a gay relationship. It’s just so icky, like instead of learning how to write new characters and fit them into the story, they use existing characters who were straight and just make them gay.
Season 1 indicated that the Hyung and the MCs brother weren’t gay at all. Then Season 2 made them a side couple??? I enjoyed S1, couldn’t get past S2 for that exact reason. Would have just liked to see the first couple prosper instead of seeing these terrible yaoi writers make every character gay. Not to mention S2 couple was the exact same as S1 couple just different guys. If I knew that were the case I wouldn’t have even started reading. Boooo!
