Spot on.. also in some of the latest chapters they also gave her flaskbacks where he wasnt a total asshole and make it look like he just didnt have time for her cuz he was sad and busy but he still cared a bit WHEN WE ALL KNOW HE SPOKE SHIT OF HER AND DIDNT CARE like AT ALL
Honestly characted development is ok but like i hope she just leaves him for good on amicable terms but for good. once she is done with the thinks at court.
I cant wait for her to call her "new" family with titles befitting of family instead of their names, like Dad

I get what you mean, but honestly his “love” doesn’t really excuse how he treated her like she literally had to change herself just to survive him That’s kinda messed up no matter how you look at it

I acknowledge that he loves her more right now, but that doesnt mean she needs to like him back the same. Sometimes you hurt people ypu like and sad to say you cant fix those relationships sometimes.
Not all mistakes can be erased, especially if someone had to move on to live it's harder to open back up to them.

The new dad on the other side didnt know her but he is now giving his all for her and her new family is always with her, creating memories, being DEPENDABLE and being there for her, meanwhile the duke dad...he begged her to stay but he hasn't really shown his face often, nor does he seem particularly interested in her, he just asks talks about the weather basically when they meet....that distance in their relationship is why he isnt a "dad" to her even now.

I hope in the next chapters she opens up enoughwith her bio family to call her brothers "BROTHER" or the tower master "DAD" In like an emergency situation
