It’s not Tei’s fault alone. Shuraka acts like he’s obsessed with him for one moment, then sends him away and doesn’t communicate with him for ten years, and then when he returns he clearly keeps things hidden from him. Even if it’s to protect him, it’s demeaning he gets to make all decisions by himself and Tei just has to be okay with it.
