Guys, you can like the story while feeling icked by the fact that Tei first met Shuraka when he was a child. You do not have to try to justify or defend it. It absolutely felt jarring to me since I’m just getting back into reading BL and saw that in like Chapter 1. I’m glad that there’s no underage sex but that doesn’t change the fact that Tei meeting Shuraka when he was a child is still questionable and a bit weird. Critiquing the media that you consume is absolutely a thing.
