Is this torwards me or someone else? I was explaining how translation etiquette usually is but ive seen it really only in Manga translation. There was a comment from a while back that was upset that VAN was uploading when officials are also being uploaded. Ive often seen teams drop translations when an offical is announced as respect to the author (again mostly with manga teams) From my post above its pretty obvious to see that I appreciate VANS work and dont mind them uploading at all. I can buy the officals as they come out to support but I know not everyone has the means to /gen

I think im over complicating it. Basically just no one should be complaining when this is free and someone is taking their time to translate so we can be caught up with raws even if officals are being uploaded on a paid site and here as well.
it just shows people are new to fandoms and don't listen to jack shit more experienced people have to say. I literally jumped up with joy when I saw someone else picking this up- not to mention the translation is GOOD. it's intelligible and the English is good, idgaf abt sfx when we can see what is going on like.. it just shows people didn't grow up with 'badly' translated media they wanted to read because even so, I was happy someone took their time and allowed us to read what they did for FREE

You seriously need to take a moment before responding every time to properly read and contextualize what someone is saying because you've magically managed to misunderstand the original comment and the reply to the original comment that was obviously aimed to add to the original comment and had nothing to do with you.

Thank you van for your hard work! Dont let the entitled people who dont even spend money on unsleep officials and cant fathom that fan translations are huge favors get to you! Your doing amazing please keep uploading! We need more people like you! Eveyone starts somewhere or doesnt have a team/time. If anyone has a problem go buy the officals. In true customary fashion scanlation teams will drop the series when an official english version comes out. We're all pirates at the end of the day.
