guys i loved the twist so much oh my god and so late in the story too well not rlly too late but late idk i was so in shock!!!!1!1 also this story was so well paced, so cute, adorable and sweet. I think the world building was incredible and the time we spent with the characters was very impactful to this story. I think the pacing did an incredible job for the audience to truely get to know the main characters and their actual personalities they’re both really well written and fleshed out. I know i keep saying this but the pacing was incredible it really made it feel so much more fleshed out, realistic and intimate especially the beginning when they were just kids. I love ray and i love the female lead too. Ray really reminded me of petah from the hunger games, someone soft devoted kind empathetic and emotionally intouch. I think his arc throughout the story is so transparent and his growth too damn I feel like i know that boy personally and watched him grow up from this little ruggrat kid to this mature Nobel young adult who still has traces of being a kid in him,not bad traces but the ones that make him in touch with his emotions and vulnerable. Oh my gosh i loved his character so much ughhhhhhhh. Lowkey why did the FL steal. Him from his family lmaoaoao i was like OOP like his aunt was fr looking for ray and he was taken by some random nobles. GOSH I LOVE RAY SO MUCH not because hes so macho or very manly but the opposite because hes vulnerable!! Emotionally in touch!!! Sweet kind empathetic relatable vulnerable honest realistic deep gentle and truely looks at the FL as an equal and as a companion instead of someone to obtain GOSH I LOVE HIM!!!! I loved this story UGH I LOVED THE STORY ARCS I LOVED THE WORLD BUILDING I LOVE THE MAIN TWO I LOVED THE SLOW BURN THEY HAD I LOVE HOW IN DEPTH IT FELT AND HOW REAL IT FELT I LOVE THE CHEMISTRY it wasnt like burning or mean or snarky it was just pure love chemistry !!!! I love ( unpopular opinion) how unlustful he was towards her and never forced her or coerced her or hinted at her to do something with him and completely let her decide those things. Idk i get the ick so bad when guys gets lustful over girls even when they’re dating like r u seriously gna ruin y’all’s bonding moment like brah idk its just yucky and greedy horny and grossBUT HE ISNT OMLLL he never mentioned anything of the sort and whenever something was mentioned it was her saying something first or initiating first and he was so patient and never once did he look like he was struggling with patience and made it aware to her UGH HES SO UgHHHH I LOVE HIM!!!
