It's wrong to consider an ai-translation as a translation, so I just changed it all, but I can't change what's already been uploaded by the mods so please bear with it :)

for the record i don't really care, it's good enough for me

I only use gemini. Matching the kanjis between the manga and the ai results, and grab the most natural translation it could get. If it sounds off then I ask the ai to elaborate or give me another alt meaning from the jp sentences. For dialogue outside the bubbles or SFXs, I sometimes write them by hand since the ai doesn't often catch them. And sometimes I ask my jp friend to translate kanjis that I couldn't rewrite. Other than that, like the cleaning and typesetting are all by me.

Hey thank you so much for all the work. I’ve already been reading mangas for decades. Know that most people actually like us don’t really mind how bad a translation may be is. We used to read arguably literal gibberish trying to make sense of the context back when yaoi wasn’t mainstream and unpopular years ago. And we ate it all up with gratuity. It takes so much time and effort to clean and typeset a single chapter, I’ve had my hand it in before. So still thank you for taking the time to do this. People are very ungrateful and untitled now knowing that even when one leaves more people take over. Back then when someone leaves it takes a whole decade before the manga sees the light of the day once again.

What I basically mean is, “the louder” crowds are always a minority. Most people just browse without leaving a comment. And we are always grateful of you guys.

fr 10+ years ago we were lucky to get some quality resolution, sometimes i was basically reading shapes on some random forum, if i got anything at all, bf i could make do with broken english

I like that you're open about your process. You're reviewing and providing oversight to what ai produces, which feels a lot more intentional and time consuming than whiiiirrr ai copy paste whiiiirrr. Honestly, miles and miles better translation than mtl.
