I think it's because the manga is more set on Hoshi's work life. I think he's doing fine and is content with his life actually, He's just a raging introvert but compassionate and thoughtful. But i get that the manga solely focusing on his life as a teacher would seem like he Doesn't have a life outside of it lmao
i love this mangakas strange sense of humor lol
also why aren't we seeing his his wife and daughter? kinda seems like he just went along with marriage for the heck of it and isn't exactly happy in life. am i the only one getting the feeling he's getting annoyed with everything around him? maybe he needs a change of scenery or smthn to get away from everyone. i'm sure a vacation would do him good.
