I don’t think there’s any justification for having sex with a dog…but I also don’t think there is any need to sanitize why he did what he did. Juyeon broke him down until he couldn’t go outside or have normal relationships. Jiwook wanted sex and attention from Juyeon. He wasn’t getting that so he took advantage of the dog. I think it is pretty simple. Beyond the obvious taboo, fetishistic angle, the zoophilia shows that they’re BOTH bad people who have passed the threshold of being a victim and are willing to involve innocent people (Soohyuk) and innocent animals in their fucked up relationship.

You could argue about the nuances of both Jiwook and Juyeon being each others rapist and victim, but I don’t see how you can argue one being less of an animal abuser than the other.
