I think it's given on why he's after the platform, he kind of has an unfinish business with them and mc and ml being "friendly" with each other is probably due to the fact that they're on the same page and Yoon stated that Shinwoo's an open book which means he can read him easily.

Is it just me or is the plot a bit confusing? I haven't read origin of spicies so maybe I missed something but for starters why is mc even trying to find the platform? And the mc and ml suddenly becoming friendly is a bit abrupt imo as if I missed a chapter or smtn. I rlly do like the story I am just confused
