No he can still play even if everybody is dead, he only needs to die himself for game to restart.

Since the chapters between 40 to 60 all their majors were mentioned in one particular chapter, bada is computer science so he could be the creator or involved in the matter of creating this game otherwise you said the npc restart case does make sense but honestly I'm not really buying that it's gonna end soon like the whole ultimate ritual, for me everything is fishy.
My theory could be false or true, it depends on the twist in the latter chapters.......(づ￣ ³￣)づ
i believe as long as someone has a casette tape running they are counted as a player/character, and all players needs to be dead for the restart
How could Bada be the last one alive if he’s an npc? Wouldn’t the game restart once all the players die?
