Dont have any problem with age gaps, or when someone meets the other as a kid BUT

He practically watched him grew up, honestly they shouldve not met after he initally left him, and then only meet when he's an adult, it still wouldnt take away his yearning for tennis ball, and the self harm could still be something that makes sense, idk it just still all feels very weird to me
