This story is actually good why do people complain so much like she literally is out of her element and she’s trying so hard to do things her way there’s no reason to complain how she’s doing it. She’s not a true noble so she has to do things the way it’s acceptable by society and she has to think about not getting her family killed. Obviously the duke is smarter than her since he’s been scheming since who knows when, so she’s actually doing okay with her plan considering she’s never really schemed before.
