Like, imagine instead of just the villainess remembering her past self after regression, everyone else also remembers. So instead of being able to start over and changing their prejudice (in this case, feelings and memories) everyone's remembering their past selves. Chaos, basically.
it's confusing because every flashback to their past life doesn't happen while they're unconscious but in the moment, while they're with otherd. which is why Jarn called Fenrir disgusting during their bath and why Ordin was screaming at Jarn at the start of this chapter.
Remember current Jarn saying he feels inexplicably drawn towards Pismaniye? It's cause he is resonating with his past self who met Pismaniye's parent that past Ordin killed in front of him.
Same with Flan and Macaron. And why Fenrir ended up in Jail. Jarn's actual mom escaped because current Ordin freed her because it made the trandparent past Jarn happy. His father chased after her and found Fenrir with her body or smth. But in the past, he didn't have transparent past Jarn, he only met Jarn after he sat on his face. That's why he's so attracted to Jarn's butt in the current life.

Basically, Jarn turned back time (with Fenrir's help) and everyone's slowly gaining their memories. Long-haired Jarn is past Jarn. Past Ordin was bad and obsessed with past Jarn, but current Ordin, after seeing the drawing, it might have stirred feeling in him from his past self and so was kinds kind in this lifetime.
Basically, it wasn't 100% turned back because there were ripples that changed how each character met each other. Trigger for remembering past apparently is seeing their their most trigerring memory from the past in the current.
