I don't mind her being a fish out of water, so to speak, when it comes to not being quite sure about basically high nobility. She's a back country noble and those rarely interact with the top nobility. When they do come to the capital, it's usually by design (business or necessary function). My issue with how the current story is going is that the second season basically completely threw out the first season. The current queen was written a very specific way both in the "novel" (how the FL remembers her) and in the first season. Calculating, extremely smart, and only caring about how she could use people. Nope, that's all been thrown out. Now she's uwu baby, didn't know she "couldn't trust" certain nobles and that literally almost destroyed a portion of her entire country but it's okay! Now she can be friends with the FL who fixed her mistakes! And why would they be friends? Doesn't matter, women supporting women!
Up until that part, I was willing to overlook a lot of the second season feeling slightly different from the first. But now it's become"everything is to suit FL" instead of her focusing on how to help herself. I would even be willing to overlook the sudden harem (2 ML and the queen flirting with her too) but this went from an enjoyable read to one I have to completely turn my brain off for. I would understand if she was just a fish out of water but it isn't that. She's having things handed to her. Yes, she kind of had things handed to her in the 1st season but there was real risk there. She was gambling her entire territory to try to dig them not only out if debt but to provide for her people. If she failed, it wasn't just her life at stake. People would starve or freeze. She worked hard to bring common things here to the world and used her resources while getting help from everyone she could, because it was necessary.
Now, the stakes are what again? She got poisoned, sure, but that was basically already resolved. And even if she gets poisoned again, the stakes are just her life. She SAYS she's going to focus on her territory but at this point, it's just continuing the prosperity. Which is fine, there's nothing wrong with that, but pretending the stakes are the same is a lie. Her main goal right now SHOULD be finding someone to replace her, which is what she wanted from the start. Is she going to do that? Probably not. Finding someone to replace her would give different stakes and could keep the same tension over her getting poisoned. Then, she would need to find someone who isn't being manipulated or trying to manipulate her, all while her life is on the line. Instead, the story is going with the typical cliches. "I need to make dozens of modern conveniences and completely forget about my original goal while I'm pursued by 2-5 hot people interested in me for my intelligence."
Again, nothing wrong with that but the 1st season got a lot if people excited for something a little new, only to throw the usual cliches at them in the 2nd season. I'll keep reading because I do like Ahwin but my hopes for the FL are in the gutter now.
I agree with your point soo badly and its frustrating because at the beginning plot, readers love the unique twists of the clichés but as each chapters pass the plot gradually turn FL into the cliché readers or the story to any generic romance storyline. And I hope they tackle the effects of using modern equipment in that area even though it's magic, for example: Does the FL keep up with all the contracts she have when she invents something new? Will she create some new company for all the things she invented?
And there's the sketchy guy from the Imperial bank who's plotting something I hope there's a twist or a turning point of the story where the FL might have difficulty but also have some reflection before the romance part.
I just hope that the FL will focus more on the development of her estate (without using her people as stakes), get her dream which is having a nice husband and peaceful life or a nice retirement moment because she is so overworked with her past life.
I just hope the romance part will not turn to a frustrating or escalates to a rivalry fight for a whole season (like if you reject one person everybody gets effected by war or some disaster).
This my first time writing about something here in mangago in long paragraphs and I don't know if I'm able to express my thoughts as clearly here. But I wholeheartedly agree with all your points because it happens to manhwas I love all the time. I apologize in advance if some of my points are vague to understand and I really admire how you write some of the plot holes I missed. Thank you so much for discussing with me

I can be brain dead sometimes with other series especially with similar tropes. I don't nitpick or complain any series that have similar tropes with a hint of twists here and there. I just LOVE reading and experiencing different kind of emotions whether they are good and bad. I appreciate where tropes show some realistic takes when it comes to any cliché in the story.
Now when it comes to transmigration ESPECIALLY when it's from (Eastern Asia) MODERN to (Western) HISTORICAL expect that WE will get SECOND HAND EMBARRASSMENT when the FMC acts differently from the society that they transmigrated to and our inner dialogue be like
"Just please stay calm and stay where you are and don't do anything stupid". But remember our FMC here transmigrate into a role with AUTHORITY and RESPONSIBILITY to take care of her people/subjects sooo she NEEDS to get her head together and start taking action because IF NOT y'all will call her like those trending Y/N scenarios where the background characters get extra work and WILL call the MC here a HEARTLESS, SELFISH, and LAZY for disregarding her role. I won't talk about her profession since some comments called it out about it already but like have y'all read history about the western society? TO MANY RULES, LAW AND MANNERISMS FOR WOMEN TO FOLLOW (no matter which position) I CAN'T KEEP UP WTF
IF the FMC here is written differently where she could solve any problem, intergrate in a foreign society, and the "I don't need help from any characters (especially from men) since I can do it by myself", it's either two reactions "OMG SHE IS SOO GIRL BOSSS SLAYYYY" or "OMG SHE'S SUCH MARY SUEE and THIS IS CLICHE OR BORING AF".
Yes, she may be dumb and sometimes other characters appear smarter than her, BUT its consider a charm for me even when it's embarrassing because she TRIES to fit in the society, did her best in what she knows (which is from business), takes responsibility for her subjects (look at the title) and once in a while other characters lends her a hand in developing and showing her the realistic part in the world she transmigrating in like connection, socialization are important to make her territory flourish (Business 101).
And genuine hot take: Some people have a hard time intergrating in today's present society especially when there's a generational gap, any individual circumstances or systematic problems they currently face. So don't mock those people. Give them time, educate and help them understand that even though they are different to what is considered the "norm" they are still human beings after all. With the EXCEPTION of some WORST PEOPLE of course.
As for the romance in this story I have nothing to say and I'm brain dead about it LMAO.
