Also, her entire support system (her husband) wasn’t there. He physically couldn’t be there for her at the time. He needed her safe and away before he could be there to comfort her. HE as the father of the child deserved the right to be there for his wife and grieve THEIR child together. NO ONE had the right to take that away from him or her. Granted, riftan could have been better before they left and said he loves her no matter what and that he’d be coming for her soon and to wait for him. I’m afraid that because he was so cold and so angry the last time she saw him, she will think that he actually doesn’t want to stay married to a woman who miscarried.
Also, I don’t think the magic was the cause of her miscarriage. I think her being beaten by a goblin or whatever it was was the cause because didn’t they make it extra obvious that they hit the belly? Depending on how long the baby’s been cooking but babies are pretty resilient to a mother’s temporary stress IF she’s healthy. Her magic was drained after she was attacked so there really was just no chance at recovery for the baby. And yes, you would be able to tell you miscarried but with all the stress and trauma she went through, it’s likely her brain made her hazy on all the details of everything that happened including the miscarriage.
I'm not surprised by people reacting that way, but seriously did you forget she was still deathly unhealthy bc of the mana depletion ? That she needed real rest. Did you all think she would be able to rest properly and safely without any problem if they told her "btw you miscarriaged, yeah sorry, this suck...now you need to sleep"
Because they haven't told.her doesn't mean they wouldn't tell her. I think many wanted to while another wanted to tell her. But this wasn't the moment. What her father did is horrible and egoistic.
