I'm currently a uni student and soon to take an internship. Is that really what happens in corporate life? I hope I get to be with co-workers who won't force me to resign just because of the toxicity.

I'm in healthcare not corporate... but the people I have had to work with before and such... you really never know what brand of crazy you find out there. Really all I say is good luck to you !! (/TДT)/ . Personally I just don't involve myself in drama or whatever but really shit that happens sometimes is like /damn it's real/ so yh... like when someone who by all accounts should've been duly fired already but you're stuck with them, people that literally don't know how to work without creating and letting drama get in the way, etc.

It depends the country/region, but yes :(, for capitalistic and mixed economy (capitalism + socialism) countries, this is our realities

As someone who happens to have a corporate lifestyle, sadly yes:(, especially with the nature of my job.
Even if you only work 8 hours per day (I work over 10 hours per day, and sometimes I work on the weekends too), it's draining + stress and hustle culture
